Even though we had a big day out yesterday, we decided to head out for yet another gorge walk today. We had heard that Kalamina Gorge was a good little walk for the kids with a few little challenges along the way that would keep them amused and wanting more, plus there was a swimming hole that they could take a dip in. It was only a 3km return hike, walk in the park for us lot now. We headed down the short steep rocky path to the start of Kalamina Gorge to the small waterfall and swimming hole. The girls were eager for a swim but thankfully it was a little cool, so we could bribe the kids for the rest of the walk to behave or no swim at the end. Plus, Ton and l were being a little selfish as we wanted to return later to take pics of the glorious waterfall in better lighting. I do have to once again apologise for the lengthy post, but god this place is amazing and its too hard to filter the pics to put in......enjoy!

Finally the return 3km hike thru Kalamina Gorge came to an end and we made our way back to the start at the waterfalls and swimming hole. The kids were all beat and had done such a great job, with both the walk and being patient with their mums while they focused on hours of taking photos. Marty and Cam were totally awesome in letting Ton and l do our thing, we were so grateful to everyone. We were also excited to see the waterfall area was totally amazing with the natural lighting now....just look below and see what you think. Reminded me of a magical wonderland! Kids didn't care too much for the beauty of the place, they just had a blast cooling off and having fun in the water...

After a big morning out, we headed back to camp where the kids feasted to restore energy and the adults lazed to rest their weary muscles. Once energy was restored, what else is left to do but make Loom bracelets!!!
